This week we’re highlighting one of our top venue partners, Bridge 410. We’re beyond thrilled to be working alongside Alicia Harvey and the incredible team at this venue to be one of their preferred floral partners. We recently sat down with Alicia to get an indepth look into their space, how they operate their events and what they are seeing trend wise for 2024 and beyond.

What is the most important factor in choosing a wedding venue?

Every couple has a different idea of their special day – they should feel comfortable with the venue manager and with the overall look and layout of the space. It helps to have furniture and outdoor space included too!

What does your venue rental include?

We include all tables, chairs, highboys and outdoor lawn furniture. We have a built in sound system with a wireless microphone as well as a TV and projector for any simple AV needs. We also have a great assortment of lawn games – jenga, cornhole, ping pong, connect 4, bocce ball and more!

What does the booking process look like?

We offer a free 2 week hold on any available date. This allows the client time to make their decision. Once they are ready to move forward, we send over a contract and invoice. We require a 50% down payment for the rental and the rest is due 30 days prior to the event.

How do you plan for less than perfect weather?

We are very lucky that we have ample space indoors in case of inclement weather. We are able to do everything inside if needed including ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing/reception. We have two adjacent rooms that allows us to flip the spaces as needed while guests are in the other room – that way they don’t have to see all the magic that happens during a room flip!

What makes for a successful event at your venue?

Having a great team is the best path to success. When we get to work with our favorite caterers, florists and planners then everything goes so much more smoothly. Each staffer is familiar with the venue, the layout and has a great rapport to work together on all the final details. We highly recommend our vendor list!

What is something special your venue offers to your clients?

We have such a unique backdrop for weddings with the train trellis located in our backyard. It is such a rare view and has been a part of so many beautiful moments. We also of course offer so many fun lawn games that our clients absolutely love!

Where is your favorite spot at the venue to see a floral installation?

The handmade wooden arch that we include as a ceremony backdrop is one of our favorite spots. I also love seeing them installed on the stairwell that is behind the welcome table !

What decor trends are you anticipating for the 2024 wedding season?

I am hoping for a boom of colors next year! I always love what each season brings and the more color the better in my opinion!

What advice do you have for couples in the wedding planning process?

Trust the people that you are working with – we work weddings every weekend and will not steer you in the wrong direction especially when it comes to vendors and layout of the event.

What is your favorite thing about the venue?

Every part of the venue is so different that we love how each event comes to life. We have this incredible backyard and two industrial indoor spaces that can be bright and colorful or romantic and dark depending on what the client prefers!
